Social Responsibility
Khodiso Marketing has been involved in social responsibility by providing the following to Leago Sports Academy:
- Web site development: Leago Sports Academy was able to obtain sponsorship of sports gear soon after we launched www.leago.org for this Non-Profit-Organisation. The value of the website is estimated at R3,800 and was offered to this organisation free of charge.
- Tutoring classes: Khodiso Marketing's staff has been involved in giving tutoring classes to Maths students of the township where this organisation is operating.
- Career events: Our staff has worked together with the members of Leago to run career events where information would be shared from professionals from various industries to high school students. This was done to motivate young high school students to follow their dreams in their field of interest.
About Leago Sports Academy:
Leago's mission is to provide a platform for the children of Hebron (Township adjacent to Garankuwa, 40km north-west of pretoria); young and old, allowing them an opportunity to give back to the community of their birth. Its Vision is to help bring back the pride in sports and academic achievements within the Hebron community and give rise to heroes of tomorrow.
Some of its objectives include:
- Promotion of Sports participation amongst the youth
- To Provision of Academic Support
- Awareness against Hypertension – Awareness against Hypertension & High Blood and other Heart Diseases
To provide a platform for the children of Hebron; young and old, allowing them an opportunity to give back to the community of their birth.
